Veteran Assistance Professional Advising and Consulting, LLC is a company dedicated to helping those who have served the US Armed Forces. With our business’s founder and owner, Brian Hill, PhD, MS, PA-C., we continue to offer our services to Veterans just as we have been doing for more than 10 years.
Our Owner
Serving with the US Army
He is an empathetic US Army Veteran who served Our Country from 1981–1997. He was a medic from 1981–1990 where he obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant..
Dr. Hill then attended the US Army Physician Assistant School as a Warrant Officer and then graduated in 1992. In the same year, he also accepted his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Medical Specialist Corps (AMSC).
He was deployed with the 10th Mountain Division to Mogadishu, Somalia where he served as a Physician Assistant from 1993–1994.
Post-Service
In 1997, after 15 years of active duty service in the US Army and multiple operations, Cpt. Hill was given a rating of 20% by both Army and the VA. He then decided to return to school to complete his Master’s degree in Occupational Medicine in 2002 and then completed his PhD in Health Care Administration in 2014.
After everything that he has gone through, He has become the passionate Veterans’ advocate that he is today. His personal experiences led him to start helping Veterans with their VA ratings in 2010.
